Shipping policy

Thank you for supporting a small handmade business! Each item is made individually with care, so please allow time for your order to be processed and shipped. Your piece is being made special just for you, and that takes a little time.

Processing time

Items listed as In stock typically ship within 2 business days. Made to Order items take longer, because each one is crocheted from scratch once you order. You'll see the current lead time on every product page and in your cart, and you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order ships.

If you need an item by a specific date, please reach out at cierra@theluxeyarn.co before ordering and I'll do my best to accommodate you.

Made to order

Most of my pieces are Made to Order, which means I start working on yours after you place the order. The current lead time is displayed on each product page and in your cart summary, and it reflects how busy the queue is at the moment. Lead times are estimates, not guarantees, but I work as quickly as I can without cutting corners.

If your cart contains a mix of In stock and Made to Order items, your whole order will ship together once everything is ready. If you'd like your ready-to-ship items sooner, please place them as a separate order.

Custom and large orders

Custom pieces, large projects, and oversized items take longer than the standard Made to Order lead time, sometimes significantly longer depending on size and complexity. If you've ordered a custom or oversized piece, I'll be in touch directly with a more accurate timeline once your order is received. These items are worth the wait, and I appreciate your patience while your piece is being made.

Shipping times

Once your order ships, standard domestic delivery typically takes an additional 3 to 7 business days depending on your location and the carrier.

Shipping rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your delivery address.

Lost or delayed packages

Once a package leaves my hands, it's in the care of the carrier. I'm not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages, but I want to help! If your tracking shows an issue or your package hasn't arrived within a reasonable window, email cierra@theluxeyarn.co and I'll do what I can to help you track it down or file a claim with the carrier.

Incorrect addresses

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If you need to correct your address, please email me as soon as possible, since I can only update it before your order ships. If an order is returned to me due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you'll be responsible for the cost of reshipping.

International shipping

If international shipping is available for your location, please note that delivery times vary and any customs fees, duties, or import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
